Reports indicate that during the ceremony, the dowry included over ₹1 crore in cash, a BMW car, diamond jewelry, and various properties. Additionally, the matchmaker who arranged the marriage was gifted a Scorpio N SUV. Furthermore, it is being reported that individuals who played minor roles in the wedding arrangements were gifted Splendor motorcycles.

The extravagant dowry exchange during this Muslim wedding in Indirapuram left the wedding guests—known as the baraatis—baffled. When a video of the event was uploaded to social media, users were equally astonished. The sheer extravagance and the massive dowry involved have become the central topic of conversation surrounding the wedding ceremony. Videos showcasing the cash and the car given as dowry are going viral across social media platforms. The wedding ceremony itself took place on the night of May 9.
The Nikah (wedding) was solemnized at the Royal Ambiance Farm in Ghaziabad, uniting a young man from the Idrisi community—a resident of Khajuri Khas, Delhi—with a young woman hailing from the same region. The event was characterized by such lavish spending that it has become a subject of intense discussion throughout the surrounding localities. The wedding ceremony was conducted amidst elaborately decorated marquees and a gathering of VIP guests.
A Public Exhibition of Dowry
The dowry remains the most discussed aspect of the entire wedding ceremony. According to reports, at the time of the Nikah, the bride’s family presented ₹1,01,11,000 in cash and a BMW car. In addition, a veritable mountain of gold and silver jewelry was on display. A particularly noteworthy detail of the wedding is that the matchmaker who facilitated the alliance was gifted a Scorpio SUV.
Perhaps the most shocking revelation is that the lavish spending had already been a major topic of discussion during the engagement ceremony, which took place prior to the Nikah. The engagement ceremony took place approximately six months ago. Even during that event, the bride’s family indulged in lavish and extravagant spending. As part of the engagement gifts, the groom received a Mahindra Thar vehicle along with ₹31 lakh in cash.
