A horrific accident has occurred in Pali, Rajasthan. A speeding dumper hit the ambulance. Three people including two women died in the accident.

A tragic road accident took place on Tuesday night in Rohat police station area of Pali district of Rajasthan. A speeding dumper hit an ambulance near the Gajangarh toll booth on the Pali-Jodhpur highway, killing three people, including two women. The accident took place around 2 am when the patient was being referred to Jodhpur in an ambulance. An ambulance driver was also killed in this accident and another driver was injured.
Ambulance is the vehicle of death
Police said the accident happened when a second ambulance was ordered from Jodhpur after the first one crashed. While the second ambulance was shifting the patient, the parked ambulance was hit by a speeding dump truck. The deceased were identified as Mohani Devi and Phagli Devi, both from Guda Malani area of Barmer district. The driver of the ambulance was also killed in the accident.
Both the women came to Jodhpur from Gujarat
The injured ambulance driver was rushed to a hospital in Jodhpur where he also died during treatment. Other relatives of the patient were standing on the roadside at the time of the accident who somehow escaped. It has also been learned that both the women had recently visited a patient undergoing treatment at a hospital in Palanpur, Gujarat… and boarded the ambulance while shifting to Jodhpur.
The accident caused panic in the area
Police rushed to the scene and started investigation. The bodies of the two women have been sent to the mortuary of Bangar hospital in Pali, while the body of the driver has been kept at Jodhpur hospital. The accident has caused a wave of mourning in the area and the relatives have demanded increased road safety from the administration.
