Seventeen houses have been completely destroyed, and 127 have suffered minor damage. The rain has subsided in some affected areas, while rescue operations are ongoing. Anakkampoyil in Kozhikode recorded 340 mm of rainfall in 35 hours, and Meppadi in Wayanad received 177 mm.
State Eligibility Test Postponed
The Higher Education Minister’s office announced this on Saturday, stating that a new exam date would be notified later. The government has urged all candidates to regularly check the official website for the latest exam updates. The revised exam date has not yet been announced.
