Reacting to the NEET paper leak controversy and the students’ protests, Salman Khan has called for strengthening the education system and enhancing transparency.

Bollywood actor Salman Khan, often referred to as the ‘Sultan’ of the industry, has emphasized the need to strengthen the education system while reacting to the NEET paper leak controversy and the student protests. Posting on the social media platform ‘X’, he wrote, “This movement was essentially peaceful, but it is deeply saddening that it took a violent turn.” He also expressed his sympathies for the students injured during the protests and their families.
Termed the paper leak a very serious issue
In his post, Salman Khan wrote, “The issue of paper leaks is extremely serious and impacts the futures of lakhs of students. It is heartening to see students across the country uniting to demand a better education system, with their parents standing by them in this campaign.”
Appreciated the students’ hard work and peaceful protest
Commending the students, he said, “They have demonstrated a desire to build their futures through hard work, honesty, and dedication. This movement is proof that the nation’s youth desire a better education system. The students tried to voice their concerns peacefully, and their courage and commitment deserve praise.”
Youth are the country’s future; education will give India a new identity
The actor stated, “Youth who are aware and motivated regarding education will bring glory to India on the global stage in the future. Today’s young generation will take the country to new heights through their knowledge and hard work.”
Appeal not to politicize the movement
In his message, Salman Khan also said, “This student movement should not be given a political color. The issue concerns only the students and the education system; therefore, the credit for this initiative belongs solely to the students. I am confident that the government will understand the students’ sentiments and take the necessary steps to make the education system more transparent, robust, and trustworthy.” Political Podcast
Making India a Global Education Hub
Salman Khan said, “If the education system is robust, the entire country will benefit. Every student who wishes to pursue an education should have access to better opportunities. Education should be made so engaging and effective that an increasing number of young people are drawn to it every year. India should be transformed into an education hub where students from other countries also aspire to come for their studies.”
