Consequently, the aircraft failed to stop in time and collided with a pole/VDGS system located in the parking bay. The collision caused damage to the aircraft’s nose section.

All passengers and crew members on board at the time of the incident are safe; there are no reports of any injuries. Passengers and crew were safely evacuated from the aircraft using manual stairs.

It is worth noting that on Thursday, IndiGo flight 6E 1302, en route from Doha to Bengaluru, was diverted to Muscat. The aircraft made a precautionary emergency landing in Muscat after the pilot suddenly fell ill during the flight.
