नवी मुंबई में 40 साल की सुनीता ने 30 साल के प्रेमी संग मिलकर 50 वर्षीय पति के कर दिए टुकड़े-टुकड़े
A shocking case that has shaken the very foundations of relationships has emerged from Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. The Rabale MIDC police have solved a sensational murder case dating back nearly 11 months, arresting the deceased Baliram Suryanath Kushwaha’s (50) wife, Sunita Kushwaha (40), and her alleged lover, Rahul Dashrath Prajapati (30). According to the police, the duo strangled Baliram to death because he was an obstacle to their illicit affair; to conceal his identity, they dismembered the body into three parts and dumped them in a forest. The court has remanded both accused to seven days of police custody.
Murder Plot Hatched After Husband’s Opposition
Police investigations revealed that Baliram lived with his wife and two children in Yadav Nagar, Airoli. During this time, Sunita developed a romantic relationship with Rahul Prajapati, an auto-rickshaw driver from Ghansoli. When Baliram learned of the affair, he objected to it. Consequently, the pair conspired to murder him. As part of the plan, the two children were first sent to a relative’s house for two days; then, on the night of August 9, 2025, Baliram was strangled to death while he slept at home.
After the murder, the body was cut into three pieces. According to the police, the body parts were wrapped in separate sacks and a bedsheet, transported in Rahul’s auto-rickshaw to the forest area of Gavli Dev Hill, and discarded at different locations to prevent identification.
Misled the Family for Eight Months
Following the incident, Sunita rented out their Yadav Nagar home and moved into Rahul’s house in Ghansoli with her two children. For nearly eight months, she misled the family by claiming that Baliram had left home. The investigation into the matter began after a missing person report was filed at the Rabale MIDC police station in April 2026. Murder Mystery Solved Through Technical Evidence
During the investigation, both accused had changed their mobile phones and SIM cards; however, the police detained them based on Call Detail Records (CDR), other technical evidence, and contradictory statements made during questioning. Under separate interrogations, both confessed to the entire murder plot.
Acting on information provided by the accused, the police have initiated a search for Baliram’s remains in the Gavli Dev hill area. However, recovering the remains poses a significant challenge for the police, given that 11 months have passed since the incident. The Rabale MIDC police are conducting further investigations into the case.
