Four members of the same family died and two others were critically injured after a refrigerator allegedly exploded in a house in Belagavi, Karnataka. The police provided this information to PTI.
The incident occurred late Monday night in the Chavat Galli area under the jurisdiction of the Market police station. According to the police, the deceased have been identified as Gajanan Dhamone (65), Roshan Dhamone (21), Sharda Dhamone (45), and Bharati Dhamone (50). Priya Dhamone (28) and Ganga Dhamone (25) sustained severe burns in the incident and were immediately rushed to the hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.
Fire broke out after refrigerator explosion
According to the police, preliminary information indicates that a fire broke out following an explosion in the refrigerator inside the house. The flames rapidly spread throughout the house, trapping the occupants inside. The police stated that an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the refrigerator explosion.
