In the Parliament complex, opposition MPs led by Congress MP Pawan Khera staged a protest with a toy monkey and raised the slogan, “56-inch’s little monkey, come quickly into the House.”

Opposition MPs staged a unique protest on the final day of the Parliament’s Monsoon Session. Led by Congress MP Pawan Khera, the MPs arrived at the Parliament complex carrying toy monkeys and teddy bears. While raising slogans, they chanted, “56-inch small monkey, come quickly into the House.”
Both male and female MPs participated in the protest. Through this demonstration, the opposition MPs sought to pressure the government and the Prime Minister to appear in the House and provide answers. This protest took place against the backdrop of a persistent standoff between the government and the opposition throughout the entire Monsoon Session.
