India | Muslim devotees offer namaz on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. Police force also deployed to maintain security

Today, the holy festival of Eid-ul-Adha (Bakrid) is being celebrated across the country with great enthusiasm and brotherhood. Members of the Muslim community gathered early in the morning at Eidgahs, mosques, and open grounds to offer prayers. On this occasion, the administration has put in place stringent security arrangements. Surveillance is being conducted using police personnel, paramilitary forces, drones, and CCTV cameras to ensure that the festival is celebrated peacefully.

Massive crowds of worshippers are being witnessed across various regions, ranging from Delhi to the districts of Uttar Pradesh. At the Fatehpuri Mosque in Old Delhi, special prayers were offered on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha (Bakrid).

Meanwhile, in Ballia, hundreds of people gathered at the Bahedi Eidgah to offer Bakrid prayers. The local police deployed adequate forces to maintain security and order. In Moradabad, a large number of people began arriving at the Eidgah early in the morning. Elsewhere, in Chandausi—a town in the Sambhal district—people offered their prayers at the Chhoti Eidgah on the occasion of Eid.

In Noida, the police are on high alert at the Sector-8 mosque. In Maharajganj, tight security has been deployed at Eidgahs and along major thoroughfares. Devotees are offering their prayers peacefully. A large number of people also gathered at the Bilgram Chungi Eidgah in Hardoi.

Heavy police contingents, the PAC (Provincial Armed Constabulary), drones, and CCTV cameras are being utilized to maintain surveillance over sensitive locations. The police have appealed for the maintenance of peace and have issued a stern warning regarding strict action against anyone found spreading rumors. Officials are closely monitoring the entire proceedings. The police and the SSB (Sashastra Seema Bal) are also maintaining a vigilant watch along the India-Nepal border.

In Shantipur, located in the Nadia district of West Bengal, a large number of devotees participated in the Eid-ul-Adha prayers. Here too, the prayers were offered in a peaceful atmosphere. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha (Bakrid), a massive crowd of devotees gathered at the Eidgah in Bhopal to offer their morning prayers.

In Mumbai, a large number of worshippers stepped out of their homes on the morning of Bakrid to offer prayers. Thousands of people gathered at the YMCA Ground in Agripada and collectively offered Eid prayers. There was also a massive turnout for the first Bakrid prayers at the Mahim Dargah. The Mumbai Police implemented stringent security measures across the entire city.

This sacred festival is being celebrated with peace and harmony in every corner of the country. People from various communities are exchanging greetings with one another. Administrative officials have appealed to all citizens to refrain from spreading rumors and to celebrate the festival with joy.
