According to reports, the ‘Dial 112’ service received a tip-off stating that a vehicle’s license plate (bearing registration number UK04 F 6683) was lying on the road, and an injured individual was visible nearby; however, the vehicle itself was missing from the spot. A wave of mourning has swept across the entire region in the wake of this tragedy. The police have successfully retrieved the bodies, sent them to the mortuary in Ranikhet, and have officially commenced an investigation into the matter.
