A deeply tragic and shocking incident has come to light from the Wazirpur area of Gurugram. Late Saturday night, five members of the same family died, sending shockwaves throughout the entire locality. It is alleged that the husband, Nazim, poisoned his wife and their four young children before attempting to take his own life.
Nazim was a native of Moradabad and lived in a rented house in Gurugram with his family. He supported his family by running a salon in the area. About seven years ago, he had a love marriage with Najma, a resident of Delhi. The couple had vowed to live and die together, but no one could have imagined that their lives would one day take such a horrific turn.
The incident claimed the lives of 35-year-old Najma and her four children: Iqra (14), Sifa (12), Khatina (10), and Ayan (8). Reports suggest that Nazim first administered poison to everyone and subsequently slit his own wrists. He has been admitted to the Civil Hospital in critical condition, where he is currently undergoing treatment under police surveillance.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the police immediately rushed to the scene, took custody of the five bodies, and sent them for a post-mortem examination. The police also recovered a broken mobile phone from the scene, which they are currently scrutinizing as part of their investigation. Preliminary inquiries suggest that family discord or mental stress may have played a role; however, the exact motive behind this tragedy has not yet been clearly established.
According to neighbors, the family typically appeared to be a happy and cheerful unit. No one had any inkling that such grave troubles were brewing beneath the surface. Consequently, this incident has come as a massive shock to the entire neighborhood. The police are currently investigating the matter from every angle to uncover the truth.
