A deeply tragic incident has come to light in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh. Sonam Jadhav, a 28-year-old woman from Imladi village, committed suicide by consuming poison after a family dispute. The incident has sent shockwaves throughout the village.
Sonam Jadhav was married to Tanpal Jadhav in 2018. The couple had two young children. Everything was fine in the initial years of their marriage, but later, tensions arose within the family. Despite living in the same house, Sonam had started cooking separately. Her husband, Tanpal, repeatedly tried to resolve the conflicts by talking to his family, but the disputes persisted.
Son gives mother ghee despite wife’s refusal
On the day of the incident, Tanpal’s mother asked her son to bring some ghee from Sonam. Initially, Sonam refused to give the ghee. After her husband persuaded her, she gave about 100 grams of ghee, but a little later, Tanpal gave his mother some more ghee. This led to an argument between Sonam and her mother-in-law. Tanpal tried to calm the situation, but the dispute escalated.
Consumed poison in anger and despair
In anger and despair following the argument, Sonam consumed poison that was kept in the house. Within moments, she started foaming at the mouth and became unconscious. Her husband and neighbors rushed her to a hospital in Pachwali and then to the Shivpuri District Hospital, but doctors declared her dead on arrival.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the police arrived at the scene. Sonam’s body has been sent for post-mortem examination. The police are questioning Tanpal and his family. The death of a young woman in a trivial domestic dispute has created an atmosphere of grief and shock in the entire area.
