Actor Vindu Dara Singh, who worked with Mukul Dev in the film ‘Son of Sardar’, has mourned his death. The time spent with you will always be cherished. ‘Son of Sardar 2′ will have your last song, in which you will make the audience laugh while bringing a smile on their faces.’
Mukul’s friend and actress Deepshikha Nagpal also posted a photo with the late actor on Instagram. Talking to India Today, she told that Mukul never talked to anyone about his health. He had a group of friends on WhatsApp, in which he used to talk often. She got emotional and said, ‘I woke up with this news in the morning. I have been calling his number since then, hoping he will pick up the phone.’
Debuted with a TV show in 1996 Mukul Dev was born on 17 September 1970 in a Punjabi family in New Delhi. He made his acting debut in 1996 with the TV serial ‘Mumkin’. In this, he played the role of Vijay Pandey. He also appeared in the show ‘Ek Se Badhkar Ek’. He was also the host of the first season of ‘Fear Factor India’.
He made his film debut in 1996 with the film ‘Dastak’. In this film, he played the role of ACP Rohit Malhotra. Later he worked in many films and TV shows, including ‘Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki’ and ‘Kabhi Kabhi Pyar Kabhi Kabhi Yaar’. He worked in more than 60 films in Hindi as well as Punjabi, Bengali, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu.
Mukul Dev also worked in many Bollywood films. He played the character of Tony Singh Sandhu in the film ‘Son of Sardar’. He got special recognition from this role. He also played important roles in films like ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’, ‘R… Rajkumar’ and ‘Jai Ho’.
