Girl Gang-Raped by Seven Men For 20 Days in UP; Accused Absconding

An FIR has been registered against the seven under various sections at Sambhal Kotwali police station. SHO Anup Sharma, who is investigating the case, said that all the seven accused are absconding.

A 19-year-old girl was kidnapped and gang-raped for 20 days by five men in Sambhal in Moradabad district. Police gave this information on Monday that alleged women were also involved in the crime. An FIR has been registered against the seven under various sections at Sambhal Kotwali police station. SHO Anoop Sharma, who is investigating the case, said that all the seven accused are absconding and no arrest has been made yet.

According to the victim, on September 27, Mohammad Arshad and Asim kidnapped her, drugged her and took her to the house of their friend Ashiq Khan in Moradabad district, where all three raped her.

Later, Soni Hussain and Faiz Alam also joined the group and assaulted him several times.

In her complaint, the victim said that the accused were supported by two women – Saira Begum and Zeba Khan.

She said she managed to escape from home on October 12 and returned home.

When his condition did not improve, his brother admitted him to a private hospital. After being released from there, he contacted the police.

Circle officer (CO) Jitendra Kumar Sargam said, “A young woman alleged kidnapping and gang rape against seven people and after preliminary investigation, we have registered an FIR under relevant sections against all the accused. The victim will undergo medical examination. “A number of teams have been deployed to arrest the accused.”
