According to the Delhi Police, a building collapsed near Satya Niketan in South-West Delhi. The Fire Department was informed of the incident in the afternoon. A rescue operation is currently in progress. The incident caused panic and chaos in the area.
Locals Initiate Rescue Efforts
Following the incident, local residents immediately began rescue operations. A Delhi Police team also arrived at the scene after being notified. Police are currently gathering information regarding the injured.
There is a suspicion that people are trapped in the debris; an official from the Delhi Fire Service confirmed this. According to officials, five fire tenders and a police team have been dispatched to the site, and the rescue operation is ongoing.
