Uttar Pradesh: A serious case of alleged sexual abuse of a four-year-old girl has come to light at an inter-college in the Fatehpur area. Following a complaint filed by the girl’s mother, an FIR has been registered against five teachers, including the principal.
Family arrived after receiving a call from the school
According to the complaint, the four-year-old daughter of a woman residing in Fatehpur town is a KG student at the school. On the day of the incident, the child went to school as usual. Around 11:40 AM, the family received a phone call from the school, requesting them to arrive with a change of clothes for the child.
The family alleges that upon reaching the school, they found blood on the child’s pants. When questioned, a teacher stated that something had happened to the child in the bathroom rather than in the classroom. The family subsequently took the child to a doctor.
Concerns escalated following the medical examination
According to the family, the medical examination revealed swelling and internal injuries to the child’s private parts. The family then returned to the school and informed the principal.
It is alleged that the family was subjected to verbal abuse, the child’s father was assaulted, and they were threatened with death for raising the complaint. These allegations have yet to be independently verified.
Allegations regarding CCTV footage
In her complaint, the child’s mother alleged that the school management refused to show the CCTV footage and attempted to destroy evidence by deleting it. The family stated that they had approached the local police, but a case was not initially registered. They have also accused the police of pressuring them to reach a settlement.
Later, the child underwent a medical examination at the district hospital. Subsequently, the mother filed an application with the special POCSO court, seeking legal action.
Case registered following a court order
According to the information received, an FIR has been registered at the Fatehpur Kotwali police station against the principal and four other teachers, based on a court order, in connection with allegations including sexual assault and criminal intimidation. Further investigation and legal proceedings are underway.
Given the child’s young age, the case is highly sensitive. Medical reports, school records, and other available evidence could play a significant role in the investigation. For now, the allegations remain to be examined based on the investigation.
