The incident reportedly took place on the Bandh Bypass Road in Jagatsinghpur village, under the jurisdiction of the Karpurigram police station in Samastipur. The video clearly shows a group of youths surrounding a girl who had stopped by the roadside to take photos, and allegedly subjecting her to verbal abuse and misconduct. Her arms were twisted, and she was verbally abused. During the incident, the youths attempted to drag her into the middle of the road and touch her inappropriately.
Misconduct with the girl in the viral video
In the viral video, some youths are seen allegedly behaving inappropriately with the girl. They appear to be asking for her name and address. Someone present at the scene recorded the incident, and the video subsequently went viral on social media. It is reported that the girl was passing along the Bandh Bypass Road with a male companion. Both had stopped by the roadside to take photos when the youths arrived and surrounded the girl.
It is alleged that the youths then verbally abused her and engaged in misconduct. The matter came to the police’s attention after the video surfaced.
