Major lapses have been observed in the security of President Draupadi Murmu, who is on a visit to Kerala. An unexpected incident occurred during President Murmu’s arrival to visit the Sabarimala Temple on Wednesday. Following the incident, police and Fire and Rescue Service personnel ensured the helicopter’s safety. President Murmu, along with the security personnel and crew, are reported to be safe.
According to reports, the President’s helicopter was originally scheduled to land in Nilakkal, but due to bad weather and rain, the landing site was changed to Pramadam Stadium in Pathanamthitta late Friday evening. New concrete had been hastily poured onto the helipad, but it had not fully dried.
