A case of gross negligence by railway employees has come to light. The incident is from Jharkhand. In fact, there was chaos at Barharwa railway station in Sahibganj district when five bogies of a goods train and maintenance coach started running on the railway track without an engine. The fortunate thing was that there was no other train on that track and the bogies which started running on the track on their own could somehow be stopped before reaching the railway platform.
A journalist named Utkarsh Singh has shared the video of this incident on social media. In this video it can be seen that the train is running on the track without an engine and people are running behind it.
Vijay Kumar Sharma, a pointsman of the railway, stopped the bogies by blocking the track with gutka, otherwise a major accident could have happened. Barharwa Railway Station Manager Niranjan Kumar Bhagat said that this happened due to the slope. The case is being investigated.

On Sunday evening, suddenly both the bogies of the goods train started rolling and collided with the maintenance coach. The result was that both the bogies of the maintenance coach and the goods train started running towards Barharwa railway station simultaneously.
Seeing this, people living near the railway track started making noise. All five bogies kept running for about three hundred meters. Meanwhile, railway points man Vijay Kumar Sharma, showing wisdom, blocked the track with gutkha and the bogies were able to stop. The track on which the bogies were running passes through the railway gate. If they were not stopped in time, there could have been huge loss of life and property at the gate.
