5 boys drown in river in MP, two bodies found

Six boys of Dumar village, located near Bankhedi of Pipariya, had gone to bathe in the Dudhi river. While bathing, five of these boys fell into deep water. Meanwhile, these boys were swept away in the current of water.

Search operation is underway after 5 boys drowned in Dudhi river on Saturday evening in Narmadapuram district of Madhya Pradesh. Two out of five boys have died. The bodies of both the boys have been recovered. Three boys are still missing, the search is on.

It is being told that six boys from Doomar village located near Bankhedi of Pipariya had gone to take bath in the Dudhi river. While bathing, five of these boys fell into deep water. Meanwhile, these boys were swept away in the current of water.

A companion of these boys informed the villagers and by the time the villagers reached the spot, all the boys had drowned in water. The villagers informed the police and administration about the accident, after which relief and rescue operations were started.

Divers had recovered the bodies of two boys by late night, while three are still missing. The operation was stopped as it was night. The search operation was resumed once again this morning.
