The letter said, “The Kejriwal government has awarded several medical contracts to a private firm ‘Metropolis Laboratory and Pathology Centres’ to process blood and other biosamples from various hospitals under the Delhi government, mainly for all inmates of Delhi Jails. The reason for filing this application/complaint is that during the last Goa elections, a payment of Rs.13 crores was collected in 3 installments from Metropolis Labs office in Mumbai on the instructions of Satyendar Jain given to me by my employees. ”
Chandrasekhar has further alleged that in one of the FaceTime chats, Jain and Kejriwal had mentioned that the directors of Metropolis were close friends and that he was providing the funding, as he had helped the company, and that the amount was to be collected from Mumbai. should be sent to Goa and Bangalore.
Chandrasekhar alleged in his letter, “Subsequently, my staff collected an amount of Rs 13 crore in two installments in 7-8 hours from the Metropolis office in Mumbai, and was continuously coordinated by Jain. Out of the Rs 13 crore, Rs 5 crore was collected. Jain’s cousin Dr. Himesh, who lives in Indranagar, Bengaluru, was sent to Bengaluru. The remaining Rs 8 crore was sent to Goa, which was collected by unknown persons, the details of which were sent by Jain.”
