A case involving the alleged gang-rape of a 16-year-old Class 11 student inside a sleeper bus has come to light in Delhi’s Kashmere Gate area. The police have arrested the bus driver and conductor and seized the bus for forensic examination.

A shocking incident has come to light from Delhi, where a case of gang-rape involving a 15-16-year-old schoolgirl inside a sleeper bus has been registered. The victim hails from Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh. On the night of August 4, she left home after a disagreement with her family and disembarked from a bus near Pari Chowk in Greater Noida. From there, she was taken onto another sleeper bus. It is alleged that the driver, Kuldeep, and the conductor, Sandeep, gang-raped the girl inside the bus during the journey from Pari Chowk to Kashmiri Gate—a distance of approximately 47 kilometers.
As the bus had curtains drawn, no one outside was aware of the incident. Upon reaching Kashmiri Gate, the girl was made to get off the bus. She immediately informed the police. Acting swiftly, the police located and seized the bus from a parking lot in Timarpur and arrested both accused on the same day.
