The deceased include the parents and their three children. Preliminary findings suggest that the deaths may have been caused by the consumption of a toxic substance. The police have taken custody of the bodies and sent them for post-mortem examinations.
Death of five family members
This tragic incident reportedly took place in the village of Nagla Sripadam, located within the jurisdiction of the Rabupura police station in Greater Noida. Mahesh, a resident of the village, lived with his wife, Lalita, and their three children—Laddu, Mishti, and Sakshat—all of whom have died under suspicious circumstances. The police were informed of the incident this Saturday morning. Upon receiving the information, local police, senior officials, an ambulance, and a team from the Food Safety Department immediately arrived at the scene.
The police field unit and a forensic team are conducting a thorough inspection of the site and collecting scientific evidence. The police have taken all five bodies into custody and sent them for post-mortem examinations. The exact cause of death remains unclear. It is reported that the family had consumed noodles the previous night.
Police suspect food poisoning
At first glance, the case appears to be one of ‘food poisoning.’ Neighbors and the mother of the deceased, Mahesh, stated that the family members had eaten noodles at night, after which they were all found dead this morning. However, the actual cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
The police have launched an investigation and are speaking with the family members. Relatives stated that the incident came to light when there was no movement observed in the house this morning. Further legal action will be determined based on the post-mortem reports and other scientific investigations. Additionally, the case is being examined from other potential angles as well.
