CM रहते आतंकवाद पर जवाब मांगने वाले मोदी अब चुप क्यों: दीपांकर
Communist Party of India (ML) general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya has said that as Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi used to demand answers from then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on every terror attack, but as prime minister Modi’s “silence” after the Pahalgam attack seems to mock his earlier stand.
In an editorial published in CPI (ML) Liberation’s weekly magazine ‘ML Update’, Dipankar Bhattacharya said Prime Minister Modi did not attend the all-party meeting on the Pahalgam terror attack on April 24, but addressed a public meeting in Bihar on the same day.
Bhattacharya said, “When the UPA government was in power, Narendra Modi as Gujarat Chief Minister used to demand answers from the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for every terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir.” “There is an old video of Narendra Modi asking Manmohan Singh to explain how terrorists can cross the border and kill people whenever they want, while the powers that be in Delhi have complete control over the country’s borders and money, information and communication,” he said.
The CPI (ML) general secretary said the Pahalgam attack was the first incident of such large-scale targeting of tourists in the Valley. “The same questions are even more relevant today, yet Modi’s silence as the Prime Minister of India seems to mock the questions raised by Modi as the Chief Minister of Gujarat,” he said.
