Uttarkhashi rescue | All 41 workers pulled out of tunnel safely after 17 days

As soon as the first laborer trapped inside the tunnel was taken out, a wave of happiness ran on the faces of everyone present outside. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who was present there, talked to the workers who had come out and inquired about their condition.

41 workers trapped inside the Silkyara Tunnel of Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand since November 12 have won the battle of life. After several ups and downs, the rescue operation that continued for several days was successful on Tuesday and all the trapped laborers were successfully rescued. After being evacuated safely, all the workers were sent to a temporary hospital in several ambulances from the Silkyara tunnel site for medical care.

On November 12, 41 laborers were trapped due to debris falling inside the under-construction tunnel at 5:30 am in Silkyara, Uttarkashi. To save them, the rescue operation which was going on in coordination with various agencies for the last 17 days, got a big success on Tuesday and five laborers were taken out around 8 pm. After this, gradually all the other workers were taken out safely from the tunnel.

As soon as the NDRF team took out the first worker trapped inside the tunnel, a wave of happiness ran on the faces of everyone present outside. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami himself was present there. He talked to the workers who had come out and inquired about their condition. Immediately after this, the work of taking the workers to the hospital started. The health of all the workers is being constantly monitored. A team of doctors was also deployed inside the tunnel.

Let us tell you that many agencies were working day and night to rescue 41 laborers. Under the supervision of the National Disaster Management Authority, teams of Army, BRO, National Highway, NDRF and many international tunneling experts were working day and night to evacuate the workers. Everyone was busy completing the rescue operation successfully as soon as possible. Now that all the workers have been taken out, there is a wave of happiness on the faces of the families of the workers as well as the officers and personnel involved in the campaign.
