Workers working at the dam site of Vishnugad Pipalkoti Hydroelectric Project under construction by THDC in Helang have been hit by a landslide.

There is news of a massive landslide in Chamoli, Uttarakhand. According to the information, the workers working at the dam site of Vishnugad Pipalkoti Hydroelectric Project under construction by THDC in Helang have been caught in the landslide. 12 workers were injured in the accident. However, 40-50 workers were working here in different parts.
On receiving the information of the incident, the team of Tehsil administration, police, SDRF and Health Department reached the spot. Where all the injured have been admitted to the hospital after rescue. District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari said that there is no report of any casualty during the incident in Helang.
12 people have been injured in the incident. Four people are being treated at THDC Hospital. While the seriously injured are being treated at Swami Vivekanand Hospital Pipalkoti.
At the same time, plaster of one person is being done in Pipalkoti itself. While a seriously injured is being referred to Medical College Srinagar. The workers were working on this site.
