On Saturday, a passenger bus suddenly went out of control and overturned on the Rishikesh-Gangotri Highway, after which there was screaming from the passengers sitting in the bus. There were about 40 passengers in the bus. It is fortunate that there was no loss of life in this accident. Some passengers have suffered minor injuries and have been given first aid.
In fact, on Saturday, a bus went out of control and overturned on the road near Bhadrakali temple on Rishikesh-Gangotri highway, in which 13 people were injured. The bus was going from Rishikesh towards Lambgaon, Tehri.
As soon as information about the accident was received, police, Tehsildar and SDRF team reached the spot. The team has rescued the injured and admitted them to the nearest hospital. The condition of three passengers in the bus accident is critical, who were immediately admitted to AIIMS Hospital Rishikesh with the help of an ambulance.
SDRF Inspector Kavindra Sajwan said that the bus was saved due to the barrier otherwise it could have gone into the ditch. The driver fled from the spot after the accident.
