Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Manoj Awasthi said Asma complained of stomach ache on Thursday night. After this the family took him to a local clinic for treatment.
According to the complaint lodged by the victim’s family, when the pain did not subside, a quack doctor gave her an injection. After this his condition deteriorated and he died after some time.
Manoj Awasthi said that the police have registered a case against Avneesh and his associates Priyanka and Ajay under section 304 A of the Indian Penal Code (causing death by negligence).
The official said that the body has been sent for post-mortem and further investigation is underway.
