According to family members, the 12th class student was returning home after studying in coaching class in CBganj on Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, two youths stopped her and started molesting her. When Khadau protested, he threw the student in front of the train near the railway crossing and ran away. The girl student was found in critical condition on the railway track. The victim student belongs to a backward caste family. Her aunt is currently the head of the village. A young man living in the village had been harassing her for about two months. After getting information from the student, the family members also complained to the family members of the accused, but both of them did not agree.
After the matter came to light, there was a stir in the police department. The SSP has suspended three police personnel including the inspector of the police station. Also, orders for departmental inquiry have been given. The police have arrested the accused youth and his father. At the same time, the government has provided an assistance amount of Rs 5 lakh to the victim’s family. On Wednesday morning, Commissioner Soumya Aggarwal, IG Rajesh Kumar Singh, DM Ravindra Kumar and SSP Ghule Sushil Chandrabhan went to the hospital and talked to the victim’s family and doctors.
