Uttar Pradesh: The memories of the ‘Muskan case’ had barely faded when another gruesome and shocking murder case emerged from Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh. Here, a woman, along with her boyfriend, not only murdered her husband but also chopped his body into several pieces. She then packed the pieces in a plastic bag and disposed of them in different locations.
However, the police have cracked the case and arrested the woman, Ruby, and her boyfriend, Gaurav. According to reports, some pieces of a human body were found in a plastic bag outside the Eidgah on Patroa Road. The discovery of the body parts caused a stir in the area, and people immediately informed the police. Police and forensic teams arrived at the scene, seized the body parts, and began an investigation.
Tattoo on the Hand, but No Head
The killers had crossed all limits of cruelty by cutting off the head, hands, and feet. The absence of the head made identifying the body a major challenge for the police. However, among the pieces was a severed hand with a tattoo, which greatly assisted the police. The investigation revealed that the hand belonged to Rahul, a resident of Chunni. Rahul’s wife, Ruby, had herself gone to the police station on November 18th to report her husband missing. Based on suspicion, the police summoned Rahul’s wife, Ruby, to the police station.
Ruby Breaks Down During Interrogation, Reveals the Reason
When the police interrogated Ruby, her statements were quite inconsistent. The police found many contradictions in Ruby’s statements, after which they questioned her more strictly, and she broke down. Ruby confessed that she had murdered her husband, Rahul, with the help of her lover, Gaurav. Both told the police that just as Muskan, in the Saurabh murder case in Meerut, had dismembered the body with her lover Sahil, Ruby and Gaurav also dismembered Rahul’s body and packed the pieces into separate plastic bags.

A forensic team arrived at the crime scene and collected evidence. Police suspect that the murder was committed inside the house, and then the body was cut up, put into bags, and disposed of. The biggest challenge for the police now is to recover Rahul’s missing body parts (head and other parts). The police are conducting raids at possible locations based on the information provided by the accused.
