A massive fire broke out on Wednesday morning in the temporary dhabas and two shops built next to Gaur City Chowk in Greater Noida West. The fire brigade team that reached the spot brought the fire under control after much effort. About 10 fire brigade vehicles were involved in extinguishing the fire.
In the initial investigation, the matter is said to be short circuit. First a fire broke out in a dhaba and soon other nearby dhabas and shops also got affected by it.
The fire department said that the fire was reported at 7 am on Wednesday. Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Choubey said that as soon as information about the fire was received, 10 fire brigade vehicles were sent to the spot. After hard work the fire has been brought under control.
Initial investigation suggests short circuit to be the cause of the fire. He told that many commercial LPG cylinders were kept inside the dhaba which caught fire. At present there is no information about any casualty in the accident.
