UP ATS has arrested Ordnance Factory Firozabad’s chargeman Ravindra Kumar and his partner from Agra. Ravindra was spying for ISI and was sending confidential documents related to the factory to his handler sitting in Pakistan.
Female agent turned out to be ‘Neha Sharma’
A female agent of ISI created a fake account on Facebook named ‘Neha Sharma’ and trapped Ravindra. During the conversation, the woman had described herself as an agent of Pakistani intelligence agency. Greedy for money, Ravindra shared information related to the daily production report, confidential letters of the screening committee, drones and Gaganyaan project.
Important evidence found from mobile
Documents related to senior officials of Ordnance Factory, officers of 51 Gorkha Rifles and trial of logistics drone have been recovered from Ravindra’s mobile. He had also shared confidential information through WhatsApp. UP ATS is investigating the entire matter thoroughly and other contacts of the accused are also being traced.
Investigation revealed that last year he had befriended a girl named ‘Neha Sharma’ on Facebook, who claimed to be associated with a Pakistani intelligence agency. Ravinder Kumar sent her many confidential documents lured by money.
Important information related to Gorkha Rifles leaked
ATS has found confidential information related to the trial of logistics drones by senior officers of the Ordnance Factory and officers of 51 Gorkha Rifles from the gallery of Ravindra Kumar’s mobile. Apart from this, sensitive information like the daily production report of the Ordnance Factory located at Hazratpur in Firozabad, drones, Gaganyaan project, confidential letter of the screening committee and pending requisition list has also been recovered, which Ravindra had sent to the ISI agent.
ATS got big clues
ATS has found WhatsApp chats and many important documents from Ravindra’s mobile. The agencies are now investigating the matter in depth so that the entire network can be exposed. According to sources, more big revelations can be made during interrogation.
