A fire broke out in two flats in 16th Avenue of Gaur City-2 located in Greater Noida Extension, Uttar Pradesh. Some people got trapped in the building after the fire. Two fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and brought the fire under control. After receiving information about the fire, the police-administration team also reached the spot and rescued the people trapped in the building. Two flats of the 20-storey building were completely destroyed in the fire. At the same time, four flats were burnt in the fire.
According to fire department officials, no one was injured in this incident. At present the cause of the fire has not been revealed. The fire has been brought under control.
Noida CFO Pradeep Kumar said, “We received information about the fire at around 9:35 from 16th Avenue of Gaur City. Taking immediate action, our 3 vehicles left. The fire broke out in a closed flat. The people living in the flat were evacuated yesterday itself. Had gone out. At present the fire has been brought under control. Due to the fire on the second floor, the fire has reached the third floor. There is no report of any casualty.”
