Eight people, including the groom, were killed when an SUV rammed into a school wall in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal district, police said. Two people were seriously injured and are undergoing treatment at a hospital in Aligarh, police said.
Superintendent of Police Krishan Kumar said the deceased have been identified as the groom Suraj (24), his sister-in-law Asha (26), Asha’s daughter Aishwarya (three), Sachin (22), Ganesh (one), Komal (18), Madhu (20) and the car driver Ravi (28).
Police said Deva (24) and Himanshi (two) are undergoing treatment. According to police, Deva’s condition is critical while Himanshi is out of danger.

Rescue operations were started immediately upon receiving the information.” He said five people were brought dead to the Junawai Community Health Center. According to eyewitnesses, the car was moving at a very high speed and it went out of control and hit the wall. According to the police, there were 10 people in the car and they were going from Hargovindpur village to Sirtaul in Badaun district.
