UK: Heavy rain alert issued in the state on 18, 19 & 20 April

The Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority has advised all the District Magistrates of the state to take precautions in view of the forecast of heavy rains in the state on April 18, 19 and 20.

The Uttarakhand Meteorological Department has issued an alert of rain with strong winds. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of winds blowing at a speed of 70 km per hour in many districts of Uttarakhand from April 18 to April 20. Apart from this, an alert has also been issued for rain.

On April 19, an orange alert has been issued for Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri, Nainital, Champawat and Udham Singh Nagar districts of Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain with strong winds during this period. Strong winds have been predicted. The Meteorological Department has also issued an alert for lightning.

On April 18, strong winds at a speed of 30 km to 40 km per hour in Dehradun, Tehri, Uttarkashi, Pauri, Rudraprayag and Chamoli. The Meteorological Department has issued an important advisory in view of the danger of strong winds and lightning. In this advisory, the department has advised people to take the following precautions.

Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has predicted the possibility of lightning, strong winds and rain-hailstorms in eastern India. Therefore, people are advised to keep getting information about the weather and take necessary precautions.
