The criminals who opened fire at Disha Patani’s home were identified as Ravindra, son of Kallu, a resident of Kahani, Rohtak, and Arun, son of Rajendra, a resident of Indian Colony, Gohna Road, Sonipat.

Today, a joint team from the Noida unit of the UP STF, the CI unit in Delhi, and the Sonepat STF engaged in an encounter with these criminals at the Techno City police station in Ghaziabad. Both criminals, Ravindra and Arun, were seriously injured. They were admitted to the hospital for treatment, where doctors declared them dead.

It is reported that the two injured criminals were active members of the Rohit Godara and Goldy Brar gangs. Ravindra has been involved in several incidents in the past. A Glock and Zigana pistol, along with a large number of cartridges, were recovered from him at the scene.

SP Wasim Akram provided the information

SP Wasim Akram of the Noida STF unit stated in a press conference that both criminals died from gunshot wounds in the police encounter. Both criminals were residents of Haryana. A Delhi Police constable was also shot during the encounter. SP Wasim Akram said that seeing themselves surrounded, the criminals also opened fire on the Sonipat STAP vehicle, which prompted retaliatory action.

Ravindra was a notorious criminal.

According to police records, Ravindra has five criminal cases registered against him in various police stations in Haryana. He was also involved in the attempt to free notorious criminal Ravi Jagsi by attacking a police escort guard in the Sadar police station area of ​​Fatehabad district on December 20, 2024. In this case, a case was registered against him under several sections of the BNS and Arms Act. Information about Arun’s criminal record is being gathered.

During the investigation into the firing incident at Disha Patni’s house, Bareilly police obtained a major clue. A suspicious bike was captured on camera on the Sheeshgarh to Bilaspur road. Bareilly police scanned over 2,500 CCTV footage. The bike riders made several U-turns while fleeing, attempting to mislead the police. Bareilly police received information from Delhi that the Goldy Brar gang never takes a direct route after a crime. Gang members frequently change routes to avoid cameras.

Bareilly police received an album of 515 criminals from four states, containing data on 335 criminals from Punjab and Rajasthan and 180 from Haryana and Delhi.
