Two (Plaak sher & Suraj) held in Amritsar on charge of spying for ISI

Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav has confirmed this action through social media. He also informed that a case has been registered against the arrested accused under the Official Secrets Act.

In a major action, Punjab Police has exposed an espionage network linked to Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. Police have arrested two suspects Palak Sher Masih and Suraj Masih from Amritsar, who are accused of sending confidential information of the Indian Army to Pakistan. Investigation has revealed that both the accused sent pictures and information of India’s military camps, airbases and other strategic places to the enemy country. All this information was being sent to ISI through the network of jailed gangster Harpreet Singh alias Pittu alias Happy.

Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav confirmed this action through social media and said that Punjab Police will not spare those who compromise the security of the country under any circumstances.
