Two persons were killed and four others, including a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO), were injured in an exchange of fire between two armed groups in Manipur’s Imphal East district on Tuesday. Police gave this information. Heavy firing broke out between two rival groups in Khamenlok in Imphal East district.
The dead person has been identified as Sagolsem Loya, while three injured people have been admitted to a hospital in Imphal. On receiving the information, security forces arrived to control the situation.
