According to the information, a cloudburst occurred in the Cherwan Kangan area of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday morning. There was a sudden flood due to the cloudburst. Due to which the Srinagar-Kargil road was closed.
Not only this, flood water has entered the houses of the people and the houses have also suffered heavy damage. Many vehicles are stuck in the debris.
Meanwhile, the administration has issued instructions for those traveling on this route after the cloudburst. The administration has advised the passengers to avoid traveling from there till the Srinagar-Kargil road opens.
It is known that on August 1, due to heavy rains in many districts of Himachal Pradesh, there were incidents of cloudburst in many areas. Cloudburst occurred in many areas including Mandi, Rampur, Kullu of Himachal. Due to this many houses were destroyed and many people also died.
Apart from this, Uttarakhand has also suffered a lot due to landslides and cloudburst incidents.
