According to the information received, this incident happened about a week ago on March 19 in Govindpuri area of South Delhi. Driver Joginder had left the white Toyota Fortuner car, registered in the name of BJP President JP Nadda’s wife, at a service center in Govindpuri and went to his home for some time. When he came back after some time, he found that the car was missing.
The driver immediately informed about this incident at JP Nadda’s residence, after which on the complaint of the driver, an FIR was immediately registered in Govindpuri police station and investigation started. Due to the case being related to Nadda, Delhi Police formed 7 teams to recover the car and started investigation. However, despite many efforts, no success has been achieved in locating the stolen car.
A police officer said the police team, which examined the CCTV footage, found out that the vehicle was last seen heading towards Gurugram. Meanwhile, there is news that the police have detained a person from Faridabad in the case and are interrogating him thoroughly. Delhi Police has assured to thoroughly investigate the matter and bring the culprits to justice.
