Three sisters charred to death in fire in J&K’s Ramban

Three sisters were burnt to death in a fire in their house in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday. All three were minors. Police said that the fire broke out on the third floor of the house in Tajnihal village.

Police in Ramban said, “Three sisters were sleeping on the third floor of the house when the house caught fire. All of them were killed in the incident. The deceased have been identified as Bisma (14), daughter of Abdul Latif Lom of Tajnihal village, Saika.” (12) and Sania (16).”

It is being told that all the family members were sleeping at the time of the fire. The fire quickly engulfed the entire house. As soon as this was discovered, there was chaos in the house. People from nearby also reached the spot. At some point, the people sleeping in the house were taken out, but by then the three sisters had been engulfed by the fire. Despite strenuous efforts he could not be saved.

Giving information about the case, police said that three sisters lost their lives in a fire in a three-storey house in Ramban. Visuals from the scene showed that the house was completely destroyed after being engulfed in flames.

Ramban District Deputy Commissioner Baseer Ul Haq Chaudhary said that three sisters died in a fire in a three-storey house in Ukhral block of Ramsu in Ramban district late on Sunday night. The team of doctors reached the spot shortly after the fire incident. He said, “Post-mortem investigation is going on. Apart from this, help will also be provided by the Red Cross Society soon.”
