Telangana | Gas cylinder blast at Karachi Bakery injures 15, six critical

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has expressed grief over the tragic incident at Karachi Bakery and directed officials to ensure best treatment to the injured. Besides, the Chief Minister has also directed the officials to help the injured labourers.

There was a massive explosion in a gas cylinder in the kitchen of the famous Karachi Bakery in Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana, on Thursday, injuring 15 employees of the bakery. The injured have been admitted to the hospital, where the condition of six of them is said to be critical. Most of the injured workers are from Uttar Pradesh.

Hyderabad Police said that the gas cylinder explosion took place in the kitchen of Karachi Bakery in Gagan Pahad area under Rajendranagar police station on the outskirts of the city. Eight injured have been admitted to Apollo DRDO Hospital in Kanchanbagh. While 7 other injured employees have been admitted to another hospital.
