Teacher cuts hair of eight children in Khammam, Telangana, causes uproar

In the name of discipline, a teacher cut the hair of eight children in a school in Kalluru Mandal of Khammam district of Telangana. There was an uproar when the parents of the children protested. Sirisha, an English teacher of Zilla Parishad High School, cut the hair of eight students for coming to school with long hair. The children were already warned to come to school with cut hair. The teacher had been asking the children to come to school with their hair cut for several days, but the children were ignoring it. When the children did not cut their hair, the teacher herself cut their hair. When the children returned home, their parents were shocked to see their hair cut. When asked, the children told that the teacher gave them their hair.
The angry parents reached the school in a hurry. They protested against this and started arguing with the teacher. During this, a ruckus broke out there. The parents said that due to this act of the teacher, the children can also take suicidal steps, so who will be responsible in such a situation. On this, other teachers present there explained to the parents. They said that our aim was to discipline the child. All the children are good at heart and are also good in studies and as a teacher it is our duty to discipline them for their good future. After this the matter calmed down.
