Alleged thug Sukesh Chandrashekhar, lodged in Mandoli jail, has filed a complaint against Assistant Superintendent Kishan Mohan and Assistant Superintendent Pradeep Sharma, accusing them of being involved in corruption in Delhi jail.

In his letter addressed to the Commissioner of Delhi Police’s Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Chandrashekhar has claimed that Rs 12 lakh was extorted as jail security money from him when he was lodged in Jail-1 of Tihar . The amount was allegedly delivered by his staff outside Kadambori restaurant in Hari Nagar.

The prisoner further alleged that Assistant Superintendent Mohan, now posted in Jail-11, Mandoli, was pressurizing him to pay additional amount.

Despite complaining to the jail superintendent several times, no action was taken, after which Chandrashekhar said that the officer was collecting huge amount of money from various prisoners on monthly basis.

Additionally, Assistant Superintendent Sharma, who is also posted in Jail-11, Mandoli, had earlier extorted Rs 7.50 lakh, Chandrashekhar has alleged.

The prisoner has accused both the officers of jointly extorting more than Rs 15-20 lakh from various prisoners monthly.

Chandrashekhar has claimed that both the officers have properties worth crores in Gurgaon and Alwar, which were allegedly acquired through corruption. He said that Sharma was earlier arrested on corruption charges, but he returned to duty and continued it.

Chandrashekhar has alleged, “I humbly request you to file a complaint on the basis of this application, the said two officers have extorted an amount of Rs 19.50 lakh from me.” have been pressurizing me to pay more.

The prisoner has urged the authorities to initiate a detailed investigation against Mohan and Sharma under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Chandrashekhar has promised to provide evidence, including screenshots of WhatsApp chats between officials and their employees coordinating the delivery of the collected amount.

He has promised to cooperate in the investigation while promising to provide all factual incidents and evidence to support his claims.
