Flash flood in Old Courtallam Falls in Tenkasi, Tamil Nadu, entry of people temporarily banned

An incident of sudden flood has come to light in the Old Courtlam Falls located in Tenkasi district of Tamil Nadu. The water level in the waterfall has suddenly increased, due to which people have been stopped from entering the waterfall. It can be seen in the video that water is flowing rapidly in the waterfall and the water level has also increased significantly. The area around the waterfall has also been flooded.
After this incident, a team of Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Department is present at the spot. The team is making efforts for the safety of people and is taking measures to prevent entry into the waterfall.
Officials have appealed to people not to go to the area around the waterfall and follow safety instructions. This incident reminds us how destructive nature’s anger can be. We should be careful about natural disasters and follow safety instructions.
