Vande Bharat going from Dehradun to Anand Vihar was pelted with stones, damaged, this is the third incident in West Uttar Pradesh.

On Monday morning, miscreants pelted stones at 22458 Vande Bharat train going from Dehradun to Anand Vihar near Khatauli railway station. Due to this, the rear glass of the coach of the train was damaged. The incident occurred at around quarter to 11 in the morning.
After stone pelting, there was chaos among the passengers sitting in the train. RPF personnel working inside the train immediately reached the spot. When the train reached Meerut Nagar railway station, GRP and RPF personnel inspected the damaged coach.
A team of RPF and GRP was also sent to the spot to find out who pelted stones at the train and why. The police is also preparing to file a case in this case.
This is the third incident of stone pelting on Vande Bharat train in western Uttar Pradesh in recent times. Earlier, stones had been pelted at this train in Saharanpur and Partapur in Meerut.
