Seven to eight people gang-raped a Spanish female tourist in Dumka, Jharkhand, her condition is fine and there is no threat to her life.

An alleged incident of gang rape of a foreign woman has come to light in Dumka, Jharkhand. According to the police, the female tourist has come from Spain. The incident took place on Friday night at Kurumahat in Hansdiha police station area, 300 km from Ranchi.
It has been told that the female tourist was staying in a tent here with her partner.
Jarmundi division police officer said that this incident happened on Friday night itself. He said that further information will be given later. Meanwhile, on the condition of anonymity, an official said that the involvement of seven to eight youths in this incident has come to light. Three of these people have also been arrested. At the same time, the search for the remaining people is going on. The victim has been admitted to the local hospital.
According to the information, this Spanish couple had reached Dumka in Jharkhand on a two-wheeler from Bangladesh. From here he had to go to Bihar and then Nepal.

On registering the complaint in this case, Phulo Jhano Medical College Superintendent Anusan Purti said, “In this case, his statement is that he has been ill-treated. His condition is fine and there is no threat to his life. Case “Investigation is going on. Medical examination is also being done.”
Jharkhand government minister Banna Gupta said on the incident, “I don’t know how factually correct this is. However, the government will take strict action against the wrongdoers. Even if it is with our Indian sister. Or with a foreign sister.”
On this incident, BJP MLA Anant Ojha attacked the Champai Soren government and said, “This is a stain on the image of the state. It shows the deteriorating law and order situation in the state, where even foreigners are not safe. The police should take immediate action in this matter.” And the government should also take strict action against the culprits.”
