Kept in custody for several months
The Haveri Session Court has granted bail to seven main accused. Their names are, Aftab Chandankatti, Madar Saab Mandakki, Samivulla Lalnavar, Mohammed Sadiq Agasimaani, Shoaib Mulla, Touseep Choti and Riyaz Saavikeri. All of them were kept in judicial custody for several months since their arrest in connection with the gang rape of a 26-year-old woman.
