Three women and three men travelling in the van died in the accident, while three children, two men and a woman sustained serious injuries, officials said.

Another major road accident occurred on the Yamuna Expressway. Six people were killed and six others injured. Three of the deceased were women. The incident occurred in Hathras district, where a double-decker sleeper bus rear-ended a van on the Yamuna Expressway early Tuesday morning, police said.
Police stated that the accident occurred at 4:20 a.m. near Hariya Garhi village in the Sadabad police station area.
They stated that the van carrying 13 passengers was traveling from Prem Nagar, Delhi, to Dholpur, Rajasthan, when the sleeper bus, traveling from Noida to Gorakhpur, struck the van from behind.
Officials stated that three women and three men in the van died in the accident. Three children, two men, and one woman sustained serious injuries.
They stated that the van driver was safe. All the passengers were residents of Delhi and belonged to different families.
Upon receiving information, Additional Superintendent of Police Ram Anand Kushwaha, the Circle Officer of Sadabad, and the Station House Officer (SHO) arrived at the scene with police force and rushed the injured to the hospital.
Officials said the injured children were sent to SN Medical College in Agra, where the condition of two of them is said to be out of danger.
Police said the investigation into the matter is ongoing.
