Two people riding a scooter looted a bag containing Rs 50 lakh from the cash collection agent of a private company in North Delhi. An official said that at 9:30 pm on Friday night, a call was received in the Police Control Room (PCR) of Civil Lines police station, in which information was given about the robbery on a flyover near Monastery Market.
According to the caller, Rajesh, a resident of Khajuri Khas, was going to his home on his scooter when the incident happened. Rajesh told that when he reached near the flyover, two people riding on another scooter came behind him and shouted and suddenly stopped his car. Meanwhile, the criminals looted a bag containing Rs 50 lakh, which Rajesh had kept near his feet, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) MK Meena said.
